Let’s explore deeper…
As a Somatic Trauma-Informed Coach, it’s my privilege to work with individuals, schools and the corporate world to raise awareness of trauma’s powerful impact on our lives and how it shapes our mental and emotional wellbeing.
In our fast-paced world, the impact of trauma is often overlooked, yet it profoundly shapes how we think, feel, communicate, and perform in every aspect of life. Personally, and professionally, trauma influences our perceptions, beliefs, and attitudes, embedding itself in the nervous system and subtly guiding our responses. These patterns can manifest as stress, burnout, perfectionism, self-doubt, and difficulty managing emotions or setting boundaries.
Acknowledging and addressing trauma’s impact on the body is essential for transforming its hidden effects. Through cultivating curiosity, expanding awareness, and understanding nervous system regulation, we create pathways and opportunities for healing and growth.
It’s my ambition to create that change.
Through specialised workshops and coaching, I guide individuals and teams to recognise and transform the effects of trauma from struggle into strength. Whether working one-on-one, in schools, or within organizations, understanding trauma and nervous system regulation—combined with the transformative effects of positive psychology—creates a foundation for knowledge, empowerment, and lasting change. Practical tools gained from this awareness improves resilience, communication, and mental health, contributing directly to a healthier and more productive environment.
Compassionate leaders and supportive environments have the power to promote healing from trauma, where people can reconnect with a sense of safety, learn to regulate emotions, and developing a healthier sense of self. By cultivating trauma-informed awareness, organisations not only enhance team dynamics but also boost productivity and employee wellbeing.
I support individuals and teams to build curiosity, awareness, and knowledge of nervous system regulation, to transform trauma’s effects by reconnecting with the body’s natural ability to heal and self-regulate. Understanding and applying nervous system regulation in the workplace not only benefits individual employees but also elevates the entire organisation.
By promoting a culture of trauma awareness, workplaces can unlock a more engaged, innovative, and healthy workforce, where everyone is empowered to contribute their best. By building a trauma-aware environment, we can create spaces and places where individuals feel safe, understood, and empowered to thrive.
